July NEXTTECH 2020 Recap

The second virtual meeting of the NEXTTECH 2020 Pitch Day series unveiled challenges presented by Zel Technologies, Inc. and Georgia Green Energy Services. Both companies have allocated funding for training solutions using augmented reality, virtual reality, artificial intelligence or simulation technology, with a goal to enhance skill training opportunities and to make teaching and learning easier.

Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) with capable market-ready technology will have one-on-one meetings with these corporations to pitch and sell their services. This event is free to qualified MBEs and hosted by the Atlanta Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center with funding from the Department of Commerce MBDA.

Complete list of challenges below:

  • Provide simulated training, safety, and education to systemically reduce the number of harmful injuries, accidents, hazardous risks, and lack of resourceful training.
  • Seeking technology to create an AI (Artificial Intelligence) algorithm that can learn crowd behavior from detected entities in Full Motion Video in simulated environments.

The third of the NEXTTECH 2020 Pitch Day series revealed challenges presented by the Air Force Research Lab.
